Couldn't resist this one though with it's stripes and scrummy buttons and a snip at £1.75.
A book for S. All the children's books are priced at 30p in our charity shop and with such a beautifully illustrated cover I had to buy this for S. I've never read Anne of Green Gables and as this is the prequel hopefully we can discover this story together.
Another book, this time for me. I find anything about stately homes and their occupants interesting and this has the added bonus of being a signed copy so I happily paid the £1.00 asking price.
Ooh like the cardie. You can never have too many cardies if you ask me!
ReplyDeleteSome great finds! You can never have too many cardi's.
ReplyDeleteI always have a look out for certain books in CS's when i go. My eldest is always looking for Enid Blyton books. She just loves them!

Lovely cardigan. I keep buying them too so will have to get rid of my wardrobe and use something bigger soon otherwise there just won't be enough space anymore.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant finds Lisa. Love the signed copy by Debs! xxx
ReplyDeleteGood haul. I like the cardy.
ReplyDeleteOooh, lovely find, the Home to Roost book. I've been wanting to read that for a while. The author was one of the Mitford sisters.
ReplyDeleteI would probaly have had that cardi too ! Never read Anne of GG but loved the series that was on TV. We get some smashing books in the charity shop where I work & it's lovely when someone finds just what they are looking for !
