Happy New Year



Earlier this morning whilst the rest of the house were still deep in sleep and I was sat downstairs with a glass of cold, fresh orange juice the rain clouds gathered again but instead of the dismal grey skies of late they gifted me with the sight of the most beautiful and perfect rainbow.

 A good sign for the year to come?
Who knows, but I wish you all a very happy and healthy 2013.

    Magical! Perhaps 2013 will be a happy year for everyone? I love the Wordsworth poem about 'My heart leaps up when I behold a rainbow in the sky'. I think rainbows are so beautiful but ephemeral and so dependant on both sunshine and rain that they have to be seen as good.
    Apologies for my web absence this year. I am catching up on my virtual friends lives. Sorry to hear about your father in law. It makes celebrating a bitter sweet experience. Happiness and sadness together.... A rainbow Christmas, yes?
