It would seem I wasn't the only one to be happy with being able to have a line full of washing out today. Someone found the combination of the sunshine and my pillow case irresistible.
Poor thing, it's obviously looking for nectar and thinks the embroidered bits are flowers. I found a slug in my greenhouse which had a tummy full of broad beans. Surely these creatures shouldn't be venturing out in February.
Wow, a bee! Spring really is coming! The change in the weather was incredible this week - Wednesday cold and snowy, yesterday and today mild and sunny. Not that I'm complaining - it was nice to go outside without thermals.
It's been a lovely day here too, I even went out without my coat (woolly jumper though!). Summer is on it's way....

ReplyDeleteImagine you have bees buzzing about already.
ReplyDeleteLittle chance of that here yet, it is -4C with a cold snow-laden wind out of the north.

We've had lots of showers today. That's such a lovely spring like shot. I am so ready for a bit of warmth in the air.
ReplyDeleteYou had the bees and I heard the birds singing this morning... It will be spring eventually!
ReplyDeleteAh bless him. The sunshine has been very welcome xxxxx
ReplyDeleteI listened to a blackbird sing on my way to the village earlier. Two glorious days makes so much difference.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. It's been a nice day weatherwise here too today. Hopefully, the weekend will stay the same!
