Happy Birthday Rick

Today is Rick Astley's birthday.

I haven't sent him a birthday card, but in memory of the numerous happy times I have spent bopping along to his 1980's hits I decided to bake a something which I have named
'Never Gonna Give You Upside down Banana Cake'

All together now..... never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you..........

Awww, it was number one when I went to Benitses in Corfu. I didn't know Mick then but he was in Corfu at the same time. It wasn't until the following year that we met, funny how things turn out.

I hope Rick reads this and knows you were thinking of him! I'm going to have that tune in my head for the rest of the evening now!

But what about his dance moves!! I know I'm too old to appreciate him, but he had me in stitches, and I have too admit that blooming song is going round and round my head now. Lol

Dinosaur Wrappers! Genius! Hey Lisa my Nephew, who is 7 and lives in Australia, and I are still debating the finer points of The Day of the Doctor during my weekly catch up the Faraways.....You mention the Astley and I am transported to a dance floor and some dreadful moves!..."So I'm never gonna dance again...." Love Sarah --x-x-x--
