Thrifty Thursday

A necklace with just the prettiest beads for £1.50, bought yesterday in the charity shop I volunteer in.

Pretty floral t-shirt bought for £1.99 in a charity shop on Tuesday when I couldn't get to work because of an electrical fault at one of the stations. 3 hours and 3 attempts to catch a train and getting soaked through in the rain in the process. I was not a happy bunny.

  8. Pretty pretty, that t-shirt made up for your disastrous morning. The necklace is wonderful, it reminds me of Russian dolls for some reason.

  10. ooh so pretty both items.
Did you see on the news about the poor elderly woman who drove onto the railway line at the level crossing Brokenhurst on Thursday ?
We passed by not long afterwards & there were still Police cars there. Imagine the hold up if we'd gone out earlier. The trains were held up for ages !
The woman & her passenger were OK but shocked.
