Walking

A walk along the shore this morning.
Just the two of us.
Fresh air to blow the cobwebs away and sun and blue sky to delight the soul.
Which sums up a line I read in Romancing the Ordinary 'seeking the splendid in the simple gift of the everyday.'

  1. It looks like a beautiful day for a walk. I've missed getting out for a walk this Christmas, Archie's been most put out that we haven't had any decent walks, we just haven't had the time or inclination for it but I hope to get back on track again now and get some walks planned.

  2. It has been a lovely day for a walk! I'd like to do more walking this year than last - last year walking was ruined by illness for a while but hopefully that's not going to be the case this year!

  3. That looks so good! I really envy anyone living near enough to the sea to be able to walk there whenever you fancy. We are only minutes away from stunning countryside but Iit doesn't quite have the same pull as the shore. X

  4. It was a beautiful day to be outdoors yesterday. We were out in Derbyshire for a walk/hike with the girls. It was cold but we loved it. x

  6. It's been a while since I've walked along the shore. Maybe it's time to get my boots on.
