Why if it's 7th July

did I need to wear my, £1.00 from charity shop, ankle length red wellies when I took S to school this morning

and not my pretty pink, £1.50 from charity shop, Dr Scholl's summer sandals?

  2. It rained heavily 21 years ago too, the day I got married. Not until we were in the reception venue though so I'm not complaining. I love your wellies, just the thing for summer showers.

  3. Yup, it's been a funny old on-off day (rainwise) here in London Town. Liking the wellies.

  5. Hi, just dropped by whilst blog hopping and noticed your bright red wellies. Of course you were right to wear these. They'll certainly get a girl noticed at the school gates. Don't wear them on the 15th July though, better not tempt fate.

  7. Lucky you - those Dr Scholls are great. I remember when I was a teenager lusting after a pair for months and months and when I finally got a pair - red I think - I thought I was the bees knees. x
