Sunshine and Showers

There has just been so much rain recently and at the weekend it was a case of if you can't beat them join them as S and I had a bit of a crafting session and made our own rain clouds complete with rainbow coloured raindrops inspired by another Pinterest pin

Yesterday we did have some sunshine which tempted G outside for the first time since his op. Thank you to all who have asked after him, he is doing well.

More sunshine arrived at the weekend, this time in the form of an award from Marina. Thank you so much for nominating me for the Sunshine award, it made my day. Please pop over to meet Marina and her lovely children at her blog where she writes about her life and all the things she loves.

  1. We had more clouds today - such a shame as yesterday was gorgeous.

Wish our clouds rained rainbows instead of big sploddy drops that find their way down the back of my neck !!

  5. I'm so fed up of all the rain we're having, but even though you made rain clouds and rain in your crafting session, they're enough to bring a little cheer as they're lovely and bright, nothing like the grey clouds we've got. Glad to hear that G is improving. Congratulations on the award, very well deserved.

  6. Oh Lisa, this is SUCH a cute craft idea! I adore it (and also secretly thinking of plagiarising it for our church kids' holiday club crafts afternoon!)
By the way, I am so glad you love Hever. I went there about 20 years ago and loved it so we went back almost 2 years ago to go and watch the Open air theatre production of Pride and Prejudice on the lawn (perfect setting!) and visited it for some tea when in the area so I was excited to visit it properly again in April! There's been lots of new developments (like a new water maze!)
I don't usually like posting links to my posts (as seems like shameless advertising!) but if you want to see some more photos, here's the link to my post about it http://kerenzaallin-garner.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/heavenly-hever.html
    Take care!
