Feeling sorry for myself

I have a nasty cold.
I've been in bed for the best part of 2 days.
I missed the local traders Christmas festivites yesterday which included a lantern parade and carol singing. Tonight I am missing an all expenses paid meal out with my fellow charity shop workers.
I am fed up and feeling a bit wallowy. Boo Hoo.

  1. Oh dear! Get well soon!

How about you turn it all around and enjoy being super-indulgent? When I was ill a few weeks ago I got a magazine and sat all day with hot drinks, flicking through the pages. After all, I bet you don't get many chances to stay in bed all day! ;-)

Sending you lots of get well wishes!

  2. Oh,Lisa,I'm so sorry, poor you. It's not good to feel poorly, but especially not at this time of year when there is so much going on.At least it is now,and not over Christmas if that's any consolation.Look after yourself and get well soon!

  3. You poor thing Lisa! I’ve had Josh home from school all week not well. You make sure you get lots of rest and keep yourself all warm and snug.
I hope you will be all fit and well for our trip out on Thursday! Don’t worry about it though, just make sure you’re ok for Christmas.

    Take care, love Lou xxx
