A Rare Glimpse

This is the bottom of my ironing basket. It's very rarely seen. Not only has all the ironing been done but the 4 items of clothing which had been in there a while because they needed small sewing repair jobs have also been dealt with. This empty state won't last long as I'm savouring this image whilst I can.

  1. I don't think I have ever seen the bottom of my laundry basket let alone my ironing basket!x

  2. Well, it's a lovely ironing basket - it wouldn't look quite so useful if there were never any ironing in it, would it?!

I hope you have a lovely, ironing-free Sunday in the sun :-)

  3. Oh I'd love to see the bottom of my ironing basket!
Whenever the end is near, it annoyingly fills up again!

  6. Good for you! Ironing is my least favorite job. Goodness knows what is lurking at the bottom of my basket! Thanks for your lovely comment. :0)

  9. Well I am extremely impressed and very envious!! Well Done you!!
I have the most humungeous heap of clean washing on the armchair in the kitchen at the moment - it contains about 6 loads that have been washed and dried on the line then dumped on the chair prior to folding and putting away!
As for ironing, I do it on a need to wear basis!
I love Simone's comment - I can agree with that!!!

  12. It won't stay like that for long, there's always plenty more where that came from, unfortunately. I hate ironing so much.

  13. The bottom of my ironing basket has all sorts of odds & sods in it. Mum had a cupboard for ironing where clothes would vanish & we'd find them scrumpled at the back well after we'd gown out of them !
