Days 11-13

Thursday was a day for taking it easy. PJ's were kept on by the two youngest of the house and general lazing was the order of the day. I couldn't be bothered with the unpacking and washing so spent some time in the garden pottering about and hanging up bunting instead.

On Friday afternoon we went for a walk and amazingly there was minimum resistance to our outing. Since we first went on this walk with a friend last year the children had wanted to take G back and show him. It takes you along part of the Strawberry Trail.

T attempting a weight lifting move!

Checking out the view of the river from a slightly elevated position.

Glimpsing the river through gaps in the trees.

And if there's water then that can only mean splashing.

Today we all went to the cinema. Admission on a Saturday morning to the  featured family films are a bargain £1.00 each. G and S paired off and went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 whilst T and I saw Mr Popper's Penguins.

This afternoon I have been attempting a bit of tidying but got sidetracked after seeing this new storage idea on Pinterest. Buttons and ear-rings, oh my!

  1. Dear Lisa,
What a lovely walk. KP loves trees and water too! What a clever idea for storing earrings.
