Days 16 and 17

For the majority of the time these past two days it's just been me and S keeping each other company. T has been to town each day meeting up with different friends and going to the cinema. A sign of things to come, my little boy is growing up.

Yesterday we needed a couple of bits and pieces for our evening meal and another item for a little garden project I have planned so with my new red polka dot trolly in tow we ventured to the local shops. Of course this meant a quick trip into the charity shop I used to volunteer in, purely to see how everyone was you understand. And whilst I was there it would have been rude not to look through the rails especially as they had buy one adult clothing item and get another free. Snaffled by me as quick as you like were these two tops. The one of the left is Per Una and the other is La Redoute. Both mine for a grand total of £2.50.

Back home after fuelling ourselves with crumpets S decided she would like us to do some painting. Here is a gallery of a few of her works of art. An angel made from S's hand printss, random colours (S's title for this piece) and a flamingo.

Not a lot going on today. Did some housework, watched some TV, visited some family and ate some cheesecake. Yum, scrum and in our tums.

  1. Dear Lisa,
Lovely finds at the Charity Shop. KP used to love painting - must get the paintbrushes out again! That cheesecake looks delicious! Enjoy the rest of the holiday.

  3. Love the angel painted from S's handprint. I'm not having to plan any trips out now both mine are growing/grown up, it's really sad, they'd much rather be out with friends than stuck with their old mum. A trip to the dentist this afternoon is about as exciting as it gets. Love the tops you got from the charity shop, you stuck lucky again.
