chair

Here is the before shot of my £1.00 chair. Photo taken in the (dandelion filled) garden a couple of weeks ago.

And here is the after shot. Taken this afternoon in my (junk filled) dining room.

Thanks go to Lynn for the fabric, a gift all the way from Missouri.

I'm quite pleased with myself.
Some projects don't even get started let alone finished so I'm happy this has been completed in a relatively short space of time.
And I've sat on it to eat my evening meal!

  4. OH MY WORD! I just about fell out of MY chair (and I seem to be shouting)!!!

I am absolutely bowled over by what you were able to do with an old chair frame and a bit of humble midwestern American vintage feedsack fabric!

I shall now commence to worshipping you as a recycled-crafts goddess. And perhaps I should send you a few more scraps so your chair family can multiply...

  5. Great renovation - your chair looks lovely now - well done!

I painted a chair last year - it's so fiddly and time consuming. I want to paint a whole set but I just can't face it right now - maybe I'll get inspiration from your chair!
