We started with the traditional 'I spy something beginning with ... insert letter of choice......'
This quickly changed into 'I spy something the colour of red/blue/green.'
Answers here being wellies, sky and trees.
All was going well until the colour brown was chosen.
'Mum's hair?' G suggested.
'No' said S with a note of disdain in her voice. 'Mum's hair is grey not brown.'
This afternoon the hairdye I bought 2 weeks ago has been used.
Lol…I’m having to wear a hat at the moment due too being well over due for a hair colour.

I laugh only because I can relate.
ReplyDeleteHope you're pleased with the results!
P.S. Word verif: angstess. A lady who feels angst regarding her hair color??
Have been getting away with covering the greys with a colour mousse wash out,but soon will need the permanent stuff!
ReplyDeleteChildren say it like it is don't they? Hope the result makes you feel ten years younger!

Out of the mouths of babes!!! I too hit the bottle every 6 weeks. I used to have very dark hair - almost jet black. My roots are as white as snow!!! I'm just not ready to give in to it yet. xxxx

Cheeky little miss!! xxx
ReplyDeleteOuch the thing children say! lol. I always remember my mum loftily declaring when we were kids that she would never dye her hair and just grow old gracefully.......... As I like to remind her when she asks what I think of her newly dyed hair! lol.
ReplyDeleteI do get the odd ones now and then I am surprised as i have very dark hair. Although my dad only started greying a few years ago and he is in his sixties now! So fingers crossed.
