'Look at the fungi growing on the side of that tree,' I said whilst we were out getting some fresh air on a brief stroll this afternoon.
'Looks more like those white crisps from the Chinese takeaway,' said T.
These will now be known to us as prawn cracker mushrooms.
T's right, they do. It's funny how things become known by other names owing to what our kids have called them.

Great fun ! The beach by my mum's was known as " Tuna's beach " as the retired coastguard Tudor lived in the old boat house on the beach. Joe couldn't say Tudor properly & so he was affectionaly known as Tuna !
